Terms of Use — BuboHub

1. Acceptance

By downloading or using BuboHub, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please don't use the app.

2. Your licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use BuboHub on Apple devices you own or control, in line with Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions. The app is licensed to you, not sold.

3. What we own

BuboHub — its code, design, name, mascot and branding — belongs to Future Is Custom. These terms give you a licence to use the app and nothing more.

4. What you own

You own your documents. Adding a file to BuboHub gives us no rights over it whatsoever. We do not receive, store, access or claim any interest in anything you put in the app. We have no way to see it.

5. Your files are your responsibility

You're responsible for the files you add — for having the right to use them, and for their legality. Please don't use BuboHub to store or distribute content you have no right to, or content that breaks the law.

6. Backups and data loss

BuboHub stores your library on your device. There is no cloud copy and no server-side backup.

You are responsible for keeping your own backups, including regular .bubohub exports. Opening a .bubohub backup replaces everything currently in the app. Folder shortcuts created in File Explorer stay on the device that made them and are not included in backups.

We cannot recover data that was never exported. Deleting the app, losing or resetting your device, or restoring an older backup may cause permanent loss. We are not liable for lost data.

7. Formats and compatibility

BuboHub supports common document formats. How a given file displays or edits depends on how that file was built — its structure, complexity and format version. We don't warrant that every file will open, render or edit correctly.

8. Editing

BuboHub lets you edit certain file types, including the source of HTML documents. Edits change your copy of the file inside the app. Editing a document can break it, and we're not responsible for content you change. Keep your own copy of anything you can't afford to lose.

9. Acceptable use

Please don't reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where that restriction can't be enforced under applicable law. Don't redistribute, resell or sublicense the app. Don't use it to break the law.

10. Third-party content and links

Documents you add may reference or link to third-party content, and may load remote resources when displayed. We don't control, endorse or take responsibility for that content, or for the privacy and security practices of any server it contacts.

11. Updates and availability

We may update BuboHub, change or remove features, or stop offering the app. We'll try to give reasonable notice of significant changes, but we're not obliged to maintain any particular feature indefinitely.

12. No professional advice

BuboHub is a document library. Nothing in the app — and nothing in a document you store in it — is advice from us.

13. No warranty

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BuboHub is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Future Is Custom is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of BuboHub. Where liability can't be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app.

15. Apple

These terms are between you and Future Is Custom, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for BuboHub or its content and has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price, to the extent permitted by law; beyond that, Apple has no warranty obligation.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Mexico. Nothing here limits any consumer rights you have under the mandatory law of the country where you live, where those rights cannot be waived.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The current version is always at bubohub.app/terms with its "Last updated" date.
