Privacy Policy

Summary

BuboHub keeps your library on your device. There is no account, and there is no BuboHub cloud that stores your files. We do not collect personal information from you.

What is stored on your device

• Your library: documents you add, shelves, categories, order and settings
• Optional folder shortcuts you create — security-scoped bookmarks to folders you chose yourself
• Backups you export (.bubohub, and legacy formats) that you choose to save or share

This lives in the app's own storage on your device. If you enable file sharing, the app's Documents area is also visible to you in Files.

Files and folders

Importing and exporting use Apple's Files picker and share sheet. You choose what comes in and where anything goes out. BuboHub can only access files and folders you personally select — it cannot browse your device on its own.

Nothing you add is uploaded to Future Is Custom. We never receive it and have no way to see it.

Network access

Core features work fully offline.

One thing to understand honestly: if you add an HTML document that references remote images, fonts, stylesheets or scripts, those resources are requested from wherever your document points when the page is displayed. That is your document's behaviour, not ours — but it means we cannot promise that everything you open stays entirely offline. Any server contacted that way may see your IP address and standard request information, and its own privacy practices apply.

If you want certainty that nothing leaves your device, use the app in airplane mode.

In-app browser

Links inside your documents open in a private in-app viewer. There is no address bar for typing arbitrary web addresses. The viewer uses a non-persistent store: session cookies, cache and browsing data from that session are cleared when you close it.

Sharing

Exporting and sharing use Apple's share sheet — AirDrop, Files, Mail and so on. Once you choose a destination, that service's terms and privacy practices govern what happens next, not ours.

Backups

A .bubohub export is created by you and saved wherever you choose. We never receive it. If you place it in a cloud service or messaging app, that service's privacy terms apply to it.

If you delete the app

Deleting BuboHub removes its storage, including your library, from the device. We hold no copy and cannot recover it. Export a.bubohub backup before deleting the app, resetting your device, or moving to a new one.

Analytics, tracking and advertising

BuboHub contains no advertising, no third-party tracking SDKs, no analytics, and no crash-reporting services. We do not build a profile of you, because we receive nothing to build one from.

Contacting support

If you email us or use the support form on bubohub.app, you voluntarily share your email address and whatever you choose to write. We use it only to answer you and to fix problems in the app. We do not add you to a mailing list, sell your address, or share it. We keep support correspondence only as long as it's useful for supporting you.

The app itself never collects your email address. It reaches us only if you send it.

Children

BuboHub does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. There is no account, no social feature, no content shared with other users, and no advertising.

Security

Your library is protected by your device's own security — passcode, Face ID or Touch ID, and the operating system's storage protections. Keep your device updated and locked. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of backups you export and store elsewhere.

The website

bubohub.app is a static site. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads no third-party scripts. The support form is provided by Tally; information you submit through it is handled under Tally's privacy terms and reaches us by email.

Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change, and the current version is always at bubohub.app/privacy. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
