A file doesn't appear after adding
Check the shelf for that file type. If you were previewing a folder in File Explorer, choose Add to Hub to copy the file into the library.

How to use BuboHub

Getting started
BuboHub is a library for files on your device. The gear icon is the main menu. Nothing needs setting up.
Adding documents
Gear → Add document(s)…, or use the Add button on any shelf to add just that type.
Supported formats
HTML, Markdown, DOCX, PDF, JSON, TXT. HTML, Markdown, text and JSON can be read, edited and shared. PDF and Word can be read and shared.
Categories
Baskets that work across shelves. Create, rename and delete them freely; deleting a category never deletes files.
File Explorer
Add a folder to browse and preview what's on your device. Nothing is copied until you choose Add to Hub. Folder shortcuts stay on that device.
Editing HTML
Open an HTML file and switch to the visual editor or the source editor.
Backing up
Gear → Save everything as .bubohub… exports your whole library as one file.
Restoring a backup
Gear → Open .bubohub… This replaces everything currently in the nest. Back up your current library first if you want to keep it. Folder shortcuts aren't included in backups and need re-adding on the new device.
Moving to a new device
Export a .bubohub, transfer the file, import it on the new device.
If you delete the app
Your library is stored on the device and is removed with the app. We hold no copy and cannot recover it. Export a backup before deleting or resetting.

Troubleshooting
When something isn't right
A document won't open
Confirm the filename ends in HTML, Markdown, DOCX, PDF, JSON or TXT, then try adding the document again.
A folder shortcut stopped working
The folder may have moved or its access may have changed. Add the folder again from File Explorer.
A file was moved or deleted outside the app
Add the file again from its current location. BuboHub cannot recover a file that was deleted from your device.
A document displays oddly
Rendering varies by document. If you contact support, attach the file only if you're comfortable sharing it.
A backup won't import
Make sure you selected a `.bubohub` backup. Keep your current library backed up before trying the import again.
An HTML page looks too small or large
Use the HTML zoom slider in the gear menu.
